I'm listing the most gorgeous antique linens that I purchased years ago from a family that claimed they are the direct descendants of the Bonaparte family. I have a tablecloth listed with the bust of Lucian Bonaparte on it, and this piece comes from that estate. Done in the finest white linen, this beautiful boudiour pillow sham is filled with padded satin stich florals and lovely drawnwork. There are 3 button holes in the back of the sham , envelope closure. There are no buttons, and I see no holes where buttons could have been sewn on. I believe it never had buttons, and perhaps has never been used. These small pillows were used on beds and chaise lounges in the homes of the well to do. There are 2 faint brownish marks, please see last two pictures. I did not try to get them out. It is most likely from storage or moving about, not use. This beautiful sham is fit for a royal family. Measures about 17" long , by about 12.5 inches wide. There is a 1/4" scalloped boarder with rose filet lace all around the sham. I will be listing other things that I purchased from this estate with just the title of French Estate, so please keep an eye out. Thanks Fine Print Unless marked new with tag , please understand that an item
may have slight storage odors, slight age or storage discoloring,
small marks, etc.….this is normal for vintage and pre owned merchandise.
I try to describe anything that would be considered a major flaw, such as a
rip, hole, discoloring,, scratches, chips or stain. If you have any
concerns about the condition or sizing, I am happy to answer all questions.
