Rare and hard to find beautiful piece of art by Carol Shinn
entitled Parking Lot from 1995 features merged images of two cars, pink and blue.
She is internationally known for creating photo-realistic embroidery.
Her machine-stitched images are on shown in numerous public & private collections.
Originally from Ft Collins, CO, Carol is also the author of several books about her medium.
This piece has been framed & hung in a large estate for many years, protected appropriately.
Glass and frame broke during transport so selling unframed, but it is still in excellent, like-new condition.
Textile art measures 13" x 24". Title and artist name with date handwritten on back on foam board,
(see photo) we cannot confirm if it is artist's signature, but will remain with art.
