Chinese 2-sided Silk Roses Embroidery

Beautifully made carved wood Chinese table screen with a Rosewood color that has a high gloss finish. My guess is circa 1970’s to 1980’s. Very artistically done with excellent carving and attention to filigree detail. It has a stunning open work scroll pattern that accentuates the central rotating silk panel. The glass covered circular silk roses [Handwork Double-sided Fine embroidery] artwork is framed and rotates 360 degree on an axis by metal pins that allow it to pivot and swivel/rotate in its frame to be viewed from both sides. The panel slides into grooves in the stand. The screen panel measures 14" x 14 1/2" x 1/2" sq. The 9 1/2" round glass framed silk embroidered artwork. The stand that holds the screen is 9 1/2" T x 6 1/2". The stand and screen together measures 19 3/8" T x 15" W x 6 1/2" D. Total weight 3 lbs. 2 oz. Excellent condition. Only few very small minor scuff marks. The glass is clear. The stand has one removeable side. It will ship as is.
