Fabulous embroidered Pakistani "Toran Kuchi tapestry or bed cover. It’s made with many many mirrors and beads within the design. Handmade from vintage, ceremonial saris, cloth, silk, wool, and cotton. Some pieces are as old as 100 years. These Tapestries are hand made by women in poor villages and sold to help feed their families.
These are no longer allowed to be exported into the U.S.
This really is a treasure. The few that are in the U.S, now are either family heirlooms or have been smuggled in by U.S. Troops returning home to after serving there.
This particular one is unique as no two are ever alike, you can see by the stitching that the person who made it was left handed.
This beautiful tapestry was brought home by a U.S. Soldier
It will fit across a queen size bed or hang it on the wall
