My mother loved embroidery, and picked up many bunka punch embroidery kits when we lived in Japan in 1971. This is one of those kits
It is titled "A flock of sparrows" and is by the Matsuhato brand.
The fabric is a very sparkly gold fabric. The kit comes in an orange and red box with instructions in Japanese and a large close up of the picture so you can see the details of the stitches. The threads are also included. There is no punch needle included in the kit. The kid has not been used. I did open it in order to take pictures.
