I am listing several vintage needlework pieces. Two of these are companion pieces, each being a large beautifully framed needlework from Colonial Williamsburg depicting some of the antique buildings found there. This listing is for the larger of the two, and it is quite large with overall dimensions measuring approximately 22" X 27". It is a beautiful impressive piece worked in a manner similar to that of an antique needlework sampler with various styles of alphabets in borders. There are tiny birds, hearts and floral motifs as well. The main body of the work consists of detailed depictions of six of the eighty eight buildings found at Colonial Williamsburg. The needlework was completed in 1996, and is signed by its maker. It was professionally matted and framed, and is in excellent condition. It is not antique but it is done in that style and is antique related. If you are a fan of Colonial Williamsburg, you will love this gorgeous work! The companion piece is listed separately. The two works pair beautifully together.
