Vintage 70s Bunka Japanese punch embroidery kit, never used, taken out of box only for pictures.
Complete unused mid century punch embroidery kit. Bunka. Bought in Toyko in 1971.
This is a really unique kit. Rather than just a picture of something it is more like a sampler. Just as cross stitch samplers teach people the different stitches in cross stitching, this bunka sampler has parts of birds (peacock feather, talon, wing) with instructions on how to blend and fade the colors, and what kind of stitches to use to get different effects.
This kit contains a fabric pattern, yarn, and instructions. You need your own punch needle and stretcher.
Please note that this kit was purchased in Japan and all instructions are in Japanese.
