VTG Madeira Encrusted BRODE MAIN Embroidered Linen Wedding Hankerchief Hanky Exquisite Vintage Madeira Brode Main Wedding Hanky. Worked on Handkerchief linen this hanky is encrusted with intricate floral design embroidery that is accented with filling stitches. All hand worked. Scalloped edges worked in buttonhole stitches.  Color is off white with light grey/silver undertones. Hankie measures 12" x 12". Entire hanky is covered with embroiderey. Stitches include: seed stitch, satin stitch, outline stitch, padded satin stitch, ladder stitch and pulled thread or "drawn work".  In addition to all these stitches Various design centers have filling stitches that add texture to the overall design.
